During a field visit in Uttarakhand, I came across a house where there was a child who was almost one year old.
He was constantly crawling from one end of house to the other. Then, he stood up but couldn’t balance his body and fell on the ground. He kept on trying for some time.
A few moments later, he suddenly got up with the support of a chair and started pushing it.
That was the first time the child had walked with support!
The mother and the grandmother of the child were so thrilled, amazed and scared at the same time to see the child walking and began motivating him to walk further.
It was a lovely moment that I experienced in my ASER journey.
