Facilitated by Pratham, the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER)
is a citizen-led household survey of children’s foundational learning levels. Reaching over 600,000 children each year, ASER is the only annual source of information on children’s learning outcomes available in India today.
In 2017, ASER will focus on a different but related set of issues, taking a longer, deeper look at older children (in the age group 14-18). Read how the survey unfolds!
Spread over the 100 day ASER cycle, this introduction to ASER pulls together a variety of media to showcase a specific aspect of survey design and implementation.
Read about the “goings-on” at ASER Centre through the year, over the years! Stories from research, from the field, from our visitors… and more.
